The reviews are coming in for The Mountaintop at Perseverance Theatre and the press is just as good as last year's for the Capital Rep production:

But it’s Liz Morgan who steals the show...Not all actors can deliver a punchline; Morgan can.

Black Lives Matter: Radio Interview about The Mountaintop in Juneau by Liz Morgan

It’s no surprise that this is a very special and significant time to be opening The Mountaintop again.

I had the opportunity to open up about my process on a radio interview alongside Michael Flood, who plays Dr. King, last week.  This week, director, Lydia Fort and Artistic Director, Art Rotch talked about their take on the production and its relevance on KTOO Juneau Afternoon.

Here’s what Lydia had to say when asked about the actors in the show:

“[Liz Morgan] gets that language…really really well...She understands the rhythm…She allows the character to kind of…take over…almost like when a spiritualist is engaging something and allowing it to speak through them….And quite funny…she’s really brilliant.”

I’m thankful for this opportunity to be a vessel.  Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Listen to the whole show here.  Our segment starts at 20:58.

Happy New Year from Liz Morgan OnTour
