Last week we were invited to do a Roundtable reading of Breaking & Entering at the Lark.  It was a great opportunity to revisit the play and I am very excited to be working on revisions in preparation for our public reading at the National Black Theatre.  Hope to see you there!

Keep Soul Alive Reading Series at National Black Theatre

Keep Soul Alive Mondays is a reading series that showcases the works of twenty-three (23) Black Playwrights. The readings take place on the second and last Monday of every month and starts at 7:30 pm at the National Black Theatre. *Since MLK day is January 16th, this reading will be on Tuesday the 17th*

Each reading is free with a suggested donation of $10.

 

 

 

Tomorrow is Now! Reading and Performance by Liz Morgan

Liz is finishing up a writing for performance lab at JACK.

Over the past 4 weeks, members of JACK's "Tomorrow is Now" performance lab facilitated by Virginia Grise have been exploring artistic practices rooted in the politics of creating a better world. Join us for a communal bread-breaking and performance sharing as we collectively breathe, dream, and imagine a new world into existence.

Monday November 28, 2016 at 8pm at JACK. 
$5-$10 Suggested Donation. 
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
